The internship is fully accredited by the American Osteopathic Association and the program directors are faculty members at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  All of the hospital clinical departments are involved in the program and actively support the internship.  MHCC is a joint medical staff organization numbering over 650, with both osteopathic and allopathic physicians on staff.
