Medical Students

The following rotations are available through the Medical Education Office of Ingham Regional Medical Center:

Anesthesia*
Emergency Medicine
Cardiology
General Internal Medicine*
Obstetrics/Gynecology
Orthopedic Surgery*
Pulmonary Medicine
General Surgery
Radiology

* Can do 2 week rotations

Please Note: The following criteria must be met in order for your rotation to be confirmed.

Application is filled out by the student and their Dean of Student Affairs.
Up-to-date immunization records are received from your school.
After a check is done on the HHS, Office of Inspector General web site.
After a check is done on the CIS website.
After your file is reviewed by the IRMC, Medical Education Committee. (meets bimonthly)
All applications must be in at least 2 months in advance of the rotation. No Exceptions!

Medical Student must call Gary Riley to schedule rotations prior to submitting the online application. Please click on the Internship/Residency program you are interested in to the left.

Rotations may be scheduled through the Medical Education Office by calling Gary Riley at (517) 975-7886 or (800) 424-3544. Housing is provided on a space available basis. Meals are provided while on duty.
