The residency consists of general inpatient
rehabilitation experience, specialized training in spinal cord injury, traumatic
brain injury, chronic pain disability, electrodiagnostic and manual medicine
training, outpatient experiences in general rehabilitation, musculoskeletal
medicine, ward supervision, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and
rehabilitation consultation. Required out rotation experiences also include:
osteopathic manipulative medicine, urology, neurology, orthopedics, rheumatology,
sports medicine, occupational medicine, and research. One month of elective is
offered once during the three years. (Note this elective is in addition to the
required out rotations listed above. Residents that complete their research can
use the research month as elective).
