The opportunity is also available to participate in community service.  The residency program currently covers the Ingham County Jail medical clinic.  This clinic is open two mornings per week.  If a resident desires he/she may see patients there and receive an additional compensation for doing so.  Jail clinic days are assigned to those participating residents based on the number of call weeks taken.

Our residency also provides yearly sports physicals at local high schools.  Residents receive an additional compensation for participating.
