Education     Print

Resident education is a dynamic process at Ingham Regional Medical Center.  We are affiliated with the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System and through this benefit from all associated educational opportunities.  The most obvious benefit from this affiliation is a monthly day long lecture series specific to OB/GYN held in the Lansing area.  In addition we have ½ day per week of protected educational time for book chapter reviews, resident and attending lectures.  Journal Club meets one evening per month usually at a local restaurant.  During your residency, time is reserved for you to attend multiple required educational courses and some ACOOG conferences.  Interns and medical students routinely rotate through our department.
