Residency

This residency program provides progressive training in orthopedic
surgery and sports medicine. Opportunities for out rotations are
available. During your third year there is a 4 month mandatory trauma
rotation at Tampa General Hospital which is a level 1 trauma
institution. A 3 month pediatric orthopedic rotation is a standard part
of the program at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A post-graduate fellowship affiliated with MSU in Sports Medicine and
Arthroscopic surgery is also available.
Residents are provided the opportunities to exercise clinical judgment
and develop surgical technique, achieving an optimal level of competence
in the practice of orthopedic surgery.
We are currently linking 3 to 4 intern positions. Interviews are usually
held in October.
